Fieldtrips, Horseback Riding and Pizza 04/21/2012
Peace Fam...How have you been? We hope your days have been filled with peace. The debut of our "Majestic Moments" Activity Corner at the DC Love Locs and Natural Hair Expo was Fantastic!!! Check out pics in the last blog post. In the last week we've been on 3 fieldtrips (Calvert Marine Museum, Living Classrooms and Great Country Farms) AND we got a chance to visit the Beach for the first time this year. After we left the Beach, we stopped to get a pizza and would you believe they let me get behind the counter and make my own pizza?!? It was the best experience!!! Also, this is the 2nd week of Horseback Riding Class and I've been learning all sorts of neat info about horses. Be sure to check out our pics below! Peace Fam...how have you been? We hope you enjoyed your weekend. We're delighted to find out that Baby Goddess Auset made her first debut in the Mount Vernon Gazette(Click here for the article)! She attended a Spring Break Acting Camp and the paper sent a photographer to take pictures during a rehearsal day. Also, I'm happy to announce that I am now a graduate of a Rites of Passage program I've been participating in! It's been a long 5 months but I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. Peace Fam...How have you all been? I hope your days have been filled with peace. It has been a busy few days since the last time I was here, with you! Remember I told you I was excited to see what my mommy had in store over the weekend? Well, did she ever surprise me! Check out the slideshow below to get a glimpse into A Goddess Journey. Her name is Mama Dee and she is a huge blessing to our family. She has a sewing and fabric shop and lets me play with all the beautiful mannequins and dresses on display! Also, my sister and I mailed out our first orders for YOU this week. And lastly, I got a chance to try out African Dance class at the Adinkra Cultural Arts Studio for the first time. Peace Fam, In addition to us receiving our first shipment of our books, I've had a fantastic time this week visiting all sorts of great places and seeing some very Majestic things. Please see pics below. I hope you enjoy! Love, A Goddess Journey  Just "hanging":@) My mommy took me to a new playground she discovered call Clemyjontri Park in Mclean, Va. It was the coolest!!!! Children of all abilities and sizes are able to play there, they even have a swing for children who are in wheelchairs. They also have a neat trail that my Mom and I walked when we were done playing. If you don't bring your own doll, they'll let you borrow one. This was the most fun and we caught the cafe right before they closed.
